Batting first Haverhill got off to a good start with Dan Pass making 45. Abington had opportunities to remove fellow opener Adam Dellar and failure to do this cost them dear with him carrying his bat for 119 not out, the first century in a final in the leagues history. It was uphill all they way for Abington and they responded positively with the bat and finished with a total that would of historically won most of the other finals. Bruce Wagstaff hit a quick 33 and Dave Lowe 38 for Abington but needing ten an over was a big ask and they fell 29 runs short. Adam Dellar was M.O.M. for his match wining innings.
